Go Figure

Gas went up again the other day and it's now a bit over $3.50/gallon for reg. This, plus warmer temps here and there kind of gave me a shot in the arm to get this thing all wired up w/ new Boyer Power box and battery. The wires are temp and will be shortened to proper length and made to look pretty. The battery holder is also temp, but I don't have a welder so the plate w/ rubber mounted pipe clamps is what I came up with. Took me a couple of hours to get the battery tray made up, brake rod and switch on, power box on, petcock replacement and new fuel lines, and then all connections made w/ terminals.
3 place ignition allows the bike to run w/ or w/out lights.
Got all done and tickled the bitch and sure enough....everything works awesome and as it should. Idles great and was purring like a kitten. Rev'd up and was happy as a pig in poo.
Roll er otta the garage and hop on....grab the clutch and push it into gear and it bucks forward and clonks out. Call a buddy and said the clutch may be dry from sitting....says I should get it in gear and keep shifting to get it all lubed up. So the stalling thing happens a few more times and on the last one I musta kicked to hard cause the case broke. So now i have to pull the whole unit out and get it heliarc'd up by my buddy's dad who's a local pro. Sucks but I'm still pumped cause I know after this last fix/inspection it'll be rolling. This is what's keeping me motivated. This bike's been a year in the making and lots of time and money but it'll be worth it. Here's how she sitting waiting for me to tear down later this weekend hopefully....need to make time to hammer it out.
I know the tranny and clutch are fine cause I rode this thing like 30 miles when I bought it.

Piece off of lower housing that needs to get welded back on
